The homewares retail space is a competitive one, where standing out can be notoriously difficult without strategic content & design. This is why Drew Moran & Nicci Kellaway approached me in 2023 as one of my first clients for the β€˜business assistance’ service. Drew had owned β€˜ING Homewares’ since 2005 but was moving stores & wanted a rebrand to β€˜NEWLOVE’.

In 2024 we launched their online website on Shopify which has attracted a whole new target audience. Alongside this, they required a complete rebrand on social media. I create content & manage their social media accounts, with a blend of in-house content created by them.

By visiting β€˜NEWLOVE’ in-store & shopping online from the comfort of your own home, customers will experience a revitalised brand that truly stands out in the crowded homewares market.

I designed the β€˜NEWLOVE’ website to embody a minimalist yet luxurious brand identity, creating a seamless shopping experience with Shopify's e-commerce functionality at its core, replicating that authentic in store experience.

Using a clean, customisable Shopify theme, I tailored the layout with elegant typography, and hover effects to highlight the products and reflect the brand’s aesthetic.

Navigation was simplified with categorised menus, predictive search, and a sticky header for easy cart access, and the mobile-first design ensured seamless functionality across devices.

I took their inactive followers & reactivated them through a combination of strategic initiatives including; creating a compelling bio, establishing a consistent tone of voice, and forming a strong brand identity.

I conducted an Instagram following audit, performed a detailed hashtag analysis, and developed a comprehensive marketing strategy. The result? Their reels, which were previously averaging less than 100 views, skyrocketed to nearly 4,300 views on their first one post-rebrand.

In addition, I developed their fonts, colors, and logo to reflect the fresh, modern feel of β€˜NEWLOVE’. I continue to create content and manage their social media accounts, with a blend of in-house content created by them.
